Simultaneously an $85 million self-funding remediation contract was entered into with Leighton subsidiary Thiess Environmental.

The result of the transaction was that with town planning approval for 1253 dwellings, the land was revalued at $160 million subject to satisfactory completion of the remediation works. Individual superlot sales were subsequently made at prices supporting the valuation.
